Women’s Club of Lockport

The Woman’s Club of Lockport was founded in 1945.  One of its first accomplishments was the establishment of a public library for Lockport and vicinity.  It has continued its support of the library and also sponsors scholarships for Nicholls State University students and an art award for a deserving senior at Central Lafourche High School.
